Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG relies on the new HP Latex 730W for its advertising prints in both outdoor and indoor applications. Among its clients are companies from the waste management sector, for whom the print service provider produces outdoor container stickers. These must not only be scratch-resistant but also highly durable due to weather conditions. If a client requests white ink printing, Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG can also flexibly meet this requirement and handle the respective orders.
In addition, the short warm-up time is important for the print service provider so that jobs can be produced quickly. Optimized printing processes allow the Latex 730W to print right from the leading edge of the material and also enable improved, more compact winding, which results in better registration accuracy.
“Our customers place high demands on the quality of film prints, especially regarding scratch resistance,” says Roger Stoll, Managing Director of Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG. “The HP Latex 730W delivered perfectly in this respect. The fast media change is also a plus for us. This allows us to complete a higher number of jobs in less time – and therefore work more efficiently than before.”
To keep track of the current status of jobs at all times, Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG uses HP PrintOS. This not only allows print jobs to be tracked but also edited and automated flexibly. This makes production easier to manage while ensuring the HP Latex 730W is utilized more efficiently.
Although Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG primarily produces films for the waste management sector on the HP Latex 730W, its portfolio also includes vehicle graphics, advertising tarpaulins, and banners. For nearly 20 years, the print service provider, based in the Limburg area, has offered design, printing, and complete installation from a single source – enabling fast and customized service. Sustainability also plays an important role: Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG chose the HP Latex 730W because of its water-based inks, which are environmentally friendly and emit no harmful substances.
As part of the Planet Partner Program, Werbe X Press GmbH & Co. KG now returns its empty ink cartridges and the maintenance cartridge to HP. These are dismantled and shredded, and in a closed-loop system HP processes them into new cartridges.
“The HP Latex 730W was recommended to us by our HP partner Antalis, with whom we have been working in a trusting relationship for many years. Once again, this was the right decision – we can now handle a higher number of jobs than before,” concludes Mr. Stoll.
